The B&I Lions will never mess with a 'Karen' again

Back in 1997, British and Irish Lions forwards coach Jim Telfer got into a verbal ‘discussion’ with a Springboks fan before ‘Karen’ felt the need to add her two cents to the verbal exchange.

Ian McGeechan did his level best to keep Telfer in check, however, his attempts proved fruitless as Telfer let the Springbok fans know his exact feelings.

It all started after Andre Venter stamped on a Lions player to which Telfer took exception.
