Cheetahs snap up Bulls prop

TRANSFER NEWS: The Cheetahs are have announced the acquisition of prop Tielman Nieuwoudt.

A powerful loosehead prop and product of Grey College in Bloemfontein, Nieuwoudt brings strength and versatility to the front row.

He has represented the Bulls since 2022 and will officially join the Cheetahs ahead of the 2025 Currie Cup season in July.

The Cheetahs also confirmed that hooker Vernon Paulo has committed his future to the team by extending his contract for another two years.

A consistent performer in the orange jersey, Paulo has already notched up 27 appearances across multiple competitions (10 in the SA Cup, 10 in the Currie Cup, 2 in the Cheetahs Challenge, and 5 in the EPCR Challenge Cup).
