Griquas opt for continuity to seal top spot

TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Griquas head coach Pieter Bergh made just one change to last week’s starting line-up for their Round Seven Currie Cup clash against the Lions at Ellis Park.

Connor Mahoney returns to the starting line-up, replacing Cameron Hufke at fullback, who drops to the bench in a straight swap.

The rest of the starting team remains unchanged, who did duty against the Cheetahs last weekend.

On the bench, Gustav du Rand takes the place of Tiaan Lange as the replacement hooker.

There is also a potential Griquas debutant in Johan Louw, who takes the place of Ntobeko Shezi.

Derick Pretorius will earn his 50th cap for the Kimberley-based outfit off the bench.
