Bulls get triple boost

The Bulls welcomed back to training on Monday Mornè Mellett, Jesse Kriel and Callie Visagie after injury lay-offs, as they prepare for the game against the Sharks in Pretoria on Saturday.

Mellett, the young front row forward, has recovered from a knee injury, while exciting fullback Kriel is over his ankle troubles.

Visagie missed last weekend's win over the Eastern Province Kings due to a groin injury which has healed up well..

There were concerns over three players on Monday with Grant Hattingh (hip), Dean Greyling (elbow) and Lohan Jacobs (hamstring) all sitting out, but they are set to return to the field on Tuesday.

The Bulls have now picked up two wins on the trot after an impressive showing against the Lions, a fortnight ago, and the Kings most recently.

Jurgen Visser (foot, four months), Pierre Spies (bicep, 4 months), Arno Botha (knee, 3 months), Frik Kirsten (neck, 3 months), Jaco Visagie (knee, 3 months), Flip van der Merwe (knee, 3 months) and Hencus van Wyk (leg, 6 months) remain on the long term injury list.

The Bulls take on the Sharks for the first time this season with the men from the coast stuttering recently after two losses and a draw against the Cheetahs on the weekend.
