Du Plessis was guilty of contravening law 10.4a, striking a player.
After reviewing the incident at a SARU hearing on Monday, Advocate Vusi Msiwa ruled that the red card given to Du Plessis was sufficient punishment for the contravention under law 10.4a.
He ruled that no further sanction was necessary, which means Du Plessis will be available for selection for the Kings' match against the Pumas in Nelspruit on Friday.
