Du Toit and Lewies out for Sharks
The Sharks will be without the services of Stephan Lewies and Thomas du Toit with the pair both failing late fitness tests in preparation for the clash with the Bulls at Loftus.
Du Toit (toe) was a late withdrawal last week for the Sharks as they drew 30-30 with the Cheetahs and it seems that the young prop has not recovered sufficiently.
Lewies meanwhile is suffering from a recurring knee injury that was exacerbated in the same match against the Cheetahs.
Dale Chadwick and JC Astle fill the spots left by the injured duo.
Springbok Lwazi Mvovo, who was the only player to be released from the national set-up, takes his place on the wing at the expense of Tonderai Chavhanga who shifts to the bench.
While on the other wing, Sibusiso Sithole slots in for the experienced Odwa Ndungane who sustained a groin injury in the draw.
In the midfield, Paul Jordaan returns along side Andre Esterhuizen who made an impressive Currie Cup debut last weekend.
The Sharks face the Bulls in the first cross-section round of the tournament and will be hoping that they can slow the momentum the men from Pretoria have picked up recently.
