Seasoned prop Janu Botha has been ruled out after suffering an injury in the heartbreaking 29-all draw with the Cheetahs last week.

Botha joins a substantial list of injured players – including Andrew Beerwinkel, Alex-Zander du Plessis, Gustav du Rand and Sako Makata.

Coach Pieter Bergh said they could play Botha at a push, but did not want to risk aggravating the injury.

The rest of the team is unchanged from the Round 12 trip to Bloemfontein.
