Injured Ismaiel 'rested' by Bulls

The Bulls, third on the standings, will face the Boland Cavaliers in Wellington on Friday.

They require a bonus-point win to secure their place in the competition play-offs.

Bulls team doctor Herman Rossouw said the Bulls suffered only one injury in their 57-20 win over Griquas last Friday.

Ismaiel, who has been nursing a groin injury for a few weeks, will be "rested" for the Bulls' final league fixture .

Rossouw said the medical staff are confident he will be 100 percent fit for the play-offs.

Ruan Steenkamp (injured hip) and regular captain Arno Botha (injured shoulder) will remain in rehabilitation for one more week.

They are likely to return in time for he semifinals.

Players on the long-term injury list (and sidelined for the rest of the season) include Handré Pollard, Warrick Gelant, Jan Serfontein, Daniel Kriel, Duncan Matthews.
