Kings to knock Bulls' confidence
Although the Bulls seem to be going through a resurgence Carlos Spencer still believes the Kings can beat them and knock the wind out of their sails.
The Kings are rooted to the foot of the table having only picked up a single losing bonus point in the competition thus far.
Meanwhile, the Bulls, after an equally poor start have started to claw their way back up the table.
Having picked up a win against the Kings and most recently, a famous victory against the much fancied Lions the Bulls seem full of confidence.
In this rematch, Spencer must know that the Bulls will be even tougher than their narrow 25-30 defeat at Loftus in Round Four.
“We can beat the Bulls. We understand that they are a better side than what they were three weeks ago. We know we have a massive challenge on our hands and the guys are excited by that,” he said.
“The Bulls are coming off a good win against the Lions and we need to knock that confidence out,” he said.
Spencer said it was only natural that the team’s confidence had taken a knock having lost the last five games in a row, but said they had been working hard on addressing this and were working hard to turn it around.
“It’s small things that are costing us, I have said it every week, I have 100 percent confidence in this team,” said Spencer.
“We have put the last five weeks behind us and are looking as this as the start of our season.
“We have an opportunity to turn the season around; we want people to remember for the five weeks coming, not the five weeks that have gone past,” he said.
The Kings will host the Bulls at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium and will be hopeful that the home ground advantage aids them against the opposition that they managed to get a bonus point off last time around.
