Kolbe out for Pumas clash
As a precautionary measure Kolbe will miss Western Province's match against the Pumas on Saturday – Province coach John Dobson refuses to risk his star fullback.
Kolbe was taken off with a bone bruising on his ankle during Province's victory over the Blue Bulls at Newlands last weekend.
Springbok prop Steven Kitshoff has a sore chest and he will be assessed later in the week.
Another Springbok, Hooker Siyabonga Ntubeni, will be out for 3 weeks with a calf injury and Dobson will be hoping to have him back by the time the semifinals come around.
Kurt Coleman has still not recovered from a calf strain and Robert du Preez gets another chance to cement himself as first choice flyhalf.
Utility forward Ryno Elstadt should be available for selection but the coach will make a final decision later in the week.
Scrumhalf Michael Claasens is in full training and will be available for selection.
