Pumas are upbeat and Injury free
The Pumas coach expressed his relief at being able to have picked up an away win and to come away with no serious injuries.
"We are relieved to have been able to get a win against the Kings. We are two teams that historically have very physical encounters," said Mentz.
He added: "It was a difficult game in wet conditions."
There were many rued opportunities by the Pumas and they will look to rectify this when they host the Golden Lions this coming weekend.
"It was a game of missed opportunities for us. We had good ball possession and created many chances, but we lacked in terms of our finishing".
According to Pumas physiotherapist Luzahn Louw, there were no injuries after the third round Currie Cup game against the Kings.
However, Captain Stefan Watermeyer, J.J Breet and Justin van Staden were all booked off for a couple of days due to flu.
Ruwellyn Isbell is awaiting the test results of a MRI done on his back for a possible discus prolapse. A final decision will be made upon the results later this week.
