Second row boost for Bulls

The Bulls, who meet the table-topping Free State Cheetahs in a Round Two match on Saturday, will have South African A-team lock Rudolph Snyman available.

Bulls team doctor Herman Rossouw confirmed that Snyman returned to training on Monday – after he sustained an ankle injury playing for SA A against the England Saxons in June.

Second row boost for BullsThe 21-year-old Snyman, who had a breakthrough season for the Bulls ion Super Rugby, will be available for selection for the trip to Bloemfontein.

However, there are two injuries from last Friday's impressive 45-26 win over arch-rival Western Province.

Centre  suffered a quad injury.

He underwent a scan on Monday and a call on his availability will be made later in the week.

Wing Jade Stighling, who scored one of his teams' six tries, suffered an undisclosed injury.

The doctor, Rossouw, said the flyer is unlikely to feature in the next four weeks.

Nic de Jager (hamstring), Roelof Smith (quad strain) and Travis Ismaiel (groin) are also unlikely to partake in training this week.

However, the trio could return next week.
