Sharks respond to Bulls' mysterious Tweet
South African rugby fans were left bemused when the Bulls left an obscure video on social media showing someone wearing one of their shirts with the name ‘Bosch’ on it.
Alongside the video was the caption “Welcome to the Bulls Family”, which immediately left fans questioning whether Sharks and Springboks fly-half Curwin Bosch could be on the way to Pretoria.

Fans began to question whether this move was happening, with some thinking that it might and others dismissing it as nonsense.
However, the Sharks have responded to this video on Twitter, suggesting that the Bulls were alluding to a campaign with comedian Bouwer Bosch, rather than their player. They added the caption “Comedians… all jokes aside. You keep your Bosch. We’ll keep the one with WIN in his name.”

Some fans guessed that this was nothing more than a publicity stunt and a marketing ploy from the Bulls, but it undeniably worked as their rivals were forced to comment. Curwin Bosch is set to become the first choice 10 with the Durban side after the departure of Robert du Preez, so a move to the Bulls would have been bizarre.
While it is still unclear what the Bulls are trying to promote, they succeeded in creating a frenzy about it on social media.
