Stokkies replaces Vorster

Vorster has been ruled out for the rest of the season after he tore his anterior cruciate knee ligament during the Lions' win against the Pumas last week.

Lions head coach Johan Ackermann has tweaked his backline ever so slightly for the Currie Cup Round Three encounter. 

Hanekom slots in at No.13 while Jaco van der Walt starts at fullback, shifting Ruan Combrinck to right wing and Courtnall Skosan moves to the left.

In the forwards, Springbok tourist Robbie Coetzee and Ruan Dreyer will pack down in the front row for the Lions replacing Malcolm Marx and Jacques can Rooyen respectively who drop down to the bench.

Elsewhere in the engine room lock, Luvuyiso Lusaseni also moves up into the starting side and Albertus Smith will start at flank.
