Uys Back to Lead Cheetahs
The most noteable absentee from the team for this Round Seven Currie Cup team is injured Springbok forward Tebogo Mohoje.
He suffered a hamstring injury in last week's loss to the Eastern Province Kings. There is no indication of when he will return to action.
Smith has also opted to start hardworking captain Francois Uys this week, after starting off the bench in last week's defeat to the Kings.
Reniel Hugo will start from the reserve bench this week.
Other changes Smith made will see exciting wing Sergeal Peterson shifting from left wing to right wing and replaces Springbok wing Cornal Hendricks, while Raymond Rhule slots in on the left wing for the clash.
There are also a couple changes to the reserve bench – which sees Theunis Nieuwoudt moving into Elandre Hugget’s place, while Niel Rautenbach, Zee Mkhabela and Tertius Kruger are all back on the bench for this weekend's match.
