VIDEO: New headache for struggling Bulls
INJURY UPDATE: The Blue Bulls, having lost two of their first three Currie Cup matches, suffered an injury setback at the weekend.
The Bulls lost 35-38 to the Golden Lions in Pretoria at the weekend, after having also lost 10-26 to the Sharks the week before.
The defeat against the Lions came at a cost.
Outside centre Johnny Kotze is in a race against time to be fit for the Round Four encounter with Griquas in Kimberley on Saturday.
Kotze left the field in the second half of the loss to the Lions with a concussion.
He has started with his return-to-play protocol and there is a chance he may be available for selection against Griquas.
Ruben van Heerden (concussion), Stedman Gans (fractured hand) and Frans van Wyk (ankle surgery) are all available for selection.
Marnitz Boshoff is the only remaining long-term injury concern and is expected to be out for another four to six weeks.
