Visser, Visagie out of Japan tour
Bulls duo Jurgen Visser and Callie Visagie will miss the tour to Japan at the end of the month due to injuries.
Visser injured a hamstring in training and has been ruled out until August 3, team doctor Org Strauss confirmed on Monday.
A final call on Callie Visagie (foot) will be made in two weeks and if the hooker cannot play, he might need to undergo an operation.
The Bulls though, who are set to play against the Eagles in Japan at the end of July, have been boosted with the return of forwards Morné Mellett, RG Snyman and Deon Stegmann.
"Jaco Visagie [toe fracture], Mellett [concussion], Snyman [calf], Fouché [hamstring] and Stegmann [hip] will all train tomorrow," Strauss said.
A number of long term injuries are on the mend.
Pierre Schoeman (knee, August 15), Clyde Davis (medial, July 27) and Ruan Steenkamp (knee, August 15) will be back in three weeks.
Duncan Matthews and Ryan Nell should be able to play again at the end of August, following knee surgery.
Irne Herbst and Piet van Zyl (knees) are out for the season, as is Dennis Visser (ankle).
