"He [Marais] hasn't played in while so it might be hard to throw him in a semifinal," said Dobson.

Loose forward Sikhumbuzo Notshe, who was a late withdrawal from the squad that beat the Sharks 31-20 in Durban last weekend, will also be available this week.

Dobson also confirmed that the there are no new injury concerns from the clash against the Sharks.

Province's victory at Kings Park secured a Newlands home semifinal.

The Sharks will host Saturday's other semifinal against the Blue Bulls in Durban.
