Youthful Currie Cup squad for WP
Western Province coach Allister Coetzee has released his Currie Cup squad that includes seven players who are still eligible for the Under-21 team.
These seven players include the likes Sithembiso Sithole, Jean Kleyn, Jurie van Vuuren, Sikhumbuzo Notshe and Robert du Preez who are all uncapped at Currie Cup level, but apart from Du Preez all have them have had Super Rugy game time.
Star wing Cheslin Kolbe is also still Under-21.
Injured players, Steven Kitshoff and Ryno Eksteen, will take no part in the Currie Cup, but new wing signing William Ambaka Ndayara has been named in the group along with Dillyn Leyds who is set to return to Cape Town from the Western Force.
Western Province will get their Currie Cup campaign underway against the Eastern Province Kings in Port Elizabeth on Friday, August 8.
The Province captain will be announced on Monday, August 4.
