Pumas axe powerhouse ahead of Cheetahs trip

TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Pumas will take on the Free State Cheetahs in Bloemfontein without star front row forward Kwezi Mona.

The prop, who has been in good form for the Pumas, makes way for Morgan Naudé in the front row.

Naudé, a product of Nelspruit High School, will make his Currie Cup debut.

The other changes in the pack see loose forward Jeandré Rudolph at No.8, replacing Willie Engelbrecht, who will don the No.7 jersey this week.

While the backline remains the same, with Stefan Ungerer and Christopher Smith as the halfback pairing.
