Three changes for desperate Griquas
TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: The Griquas have made three changes to the side that will take on the Blue Bulls in a must-win Currie Cup match.
The Griquas are currently at the bottom of the log after defeats to the Pumas (42-19) in Nelspruit and the Golden Lions (62-41) in Johannesburg.
This weekend’s fixture against Blue Bulls is the first home game for the side, who have to win if they want to have a chance to make a play-off phase.
The three changes to the side see fullback AJ Coertzen return to fullback, replacing Eric Zana.
Coertzen’s switch also means that Evenr Brandt comes into the starting XV on the left wing.
The other modification is in the pack, Eital Bredenkamp joins the loose trio in place of Wendall Wehr. Bredenkamp partners up with flank Sias Koen and No.8 Conway Pretorius.
