VIDEO: Province hopeful that the 'dominoes' connect
WATCH as Western Province assistant coach Brok Harris and lock Alex Groves speak about their line-out issues ahead of their Currie Cup clash against the Sharks in Durban.
It can be seen as the battle for the wooden spoon when the Sharks host fellow coastal strugglers Western Province at Kings Park on Friday.

Both teams opted to use predominantly Under-21 players for the 2025 campaign, and the results haven’t been good reading thus far for either side.
The positive for the coastal rivals is the improvement they’ve made every week.
One area Western Province struggled with last week against the Cheetahs was their line-out.
The Capetonians had ample opportunities to seal a draw towards the latter part of their match against the Cheetahs, but botched numerous opportunities with overthrows and stolen balls, which denied them from doing so.
Forwards coach Harris said that they have placed emphasis on that aspect of their game so far this week in training, and spoke about it being an issue.

“It’s always important to win our line-outs. We weren’t sticking to our plan during periods of the [Cheetahs] match,” Harris told @rugby365com.
“We will learn from it, and we will need to be better. It’s something we discussed yesterday [Monday] and today [Tuesday].
“We had a nice line-out session today [Tuesday] and we need to be better if we want to get a foothold in the game.
“It will start with our set-piece. There’s a saying that goes ‘if your pack goes well, the result will go well’.
“We are well aware that line-outs are an issue and we are working hard to rectify it.”
Lock Alex Groves added that it will require minor tweaks to ensure all their “dominoes” fall in place when it comes to the set-piece.

“It comes down to winning the space and ensuring that we’ve got a good lift on the throw-in.
“We also need to ensure, as we call it, the dominoes, that all our areas are in check.
“If we have all those boxes ticked, no team can win the ball against us.”
