Injury woes have forced the Bulls into making another raft of sweeping changes

Currently stone last on the Currie Cup log after enduring three straight defeats, the Bulls return to their home turf to face the Pumas, who recorded their first win of the season last Sunday against Boland in Wellington.

The matchday 23 features three further debutants: Dieter Schubert starts at No.8, along with bench options Jon Hobson and Jacques Swarts.

Their inclusions push the total number of players handed debuts by the Bulls to 23 across four matches this season.

In addition to the fresh faces, key positional switches have been made across the backline.

Keagan Johannes steps into the primary playmaking channel at scrumhalf, while Williams, slotting into the flyhalf role, provides a different tactical dynamic as the hosts aim to unlock the Pumas’ defence.
