NEWS: The Sharks will reportedly have to wait a little longer before they can unleash Eben Etzebeth.
The Springbok superstar has been out of action since December last year after he suffered a head knock against Exeter Chiefs in a Champions Cup match.
Etzebeth has been struggling with concussion symptoms over the last few months and it seems that he won’t be ready for the Sharks’ United Rugby Championship Round 13 clash against Zebre in Durban on Saturday.
“Eben will not be available this week,” a Sharks spokesperson told Independent Media on Tuesday.

Sharks head coach John Plumtree provided an update on Etzebeth earlier this month ahead of his team’s URC rescheduled match against the Lions on March 8.
“I am too scared to tell you anything positive,” Plumtree said at the time, adding: “When I got my hopes up, we ended going backwards again.
“He has trained well and we are hoping is not far away.
“As I have said, I am a bit too nervous to give any positive timelines, but it is starting to look much better.”
After Saturday’s match against Zebre, the Sharks will face Leinster at Kings Park on March 29.
