Bok star doubtful for big Euro showdown

UPDATE: Leinster will be sweating over a couple of key players ahead of their Champions Cup Round Two clash against Leicester Tigers at Welford Road on Friday.

Springbok lock RG Snyman left the field in the opening quarter of Leinster’s 45-28 win over Harlequins with a shoulder injury. In the same match, centre Garry Ringrose suffered a cramp injury.

Both players will be further assessed this week, and a final decision on their availability will be made later in the week.

Meanwhile, the bad news for the Irish side is that Jordan Larmour is unavailable for selection this week after picking up a hamstring injury during his Player of the Match performance against Harlequins.

The good news for Leinster is that James Lowe will return to training after recovering from a calf injury and will be available for selection.

Will Connors will also return to training as he continues his recovery from an arm injury, with a decision on his availability to be made later in the week.

There are no further updates on Cormac Foley, Hugo Keenan, James Culhane, Jamie Osborne, Ryan Baird, and Andrew Porter.
