RECAP: Lions v Benetton - Challenge Cup

By @rugby365com
Saturday 6 Dec 2025

READERS’ FORUM: Welcome to our LIVE coverage of the Challenge Cup Round One encounter between the Lions and Benetton at Ellis Park in Johannesburg.

Benetton beat the Lions in Italy in the URC, while the Italians also won the corresponding fixture in Johannesburg last year, but this time around, the hosts will go into the clash on the back of three straight wins since they were downed in Treviso, two of them at home at Ellis Park.
