Springbok veteran Frans Steyn announced his retirement earlier this month.

To offset the loss of some of those players, the Cheetahs have been signing players.

As previously reported, Hawies Fourie will have lock Carl Wegner and scrumhalf Ruben de Haas back in Bloemfontein.

Flyhalf Abner van Reenen and scrumhalf Reagan Oranje will also bolster the backline
