Glasgow hooker cops four-week ban

Turner was cited for an off-the-ball tackle which occurred during his side's defeat to Montpellier last Friday.

Turner, who has scored four tries and made a big impact since joining the club on loan from Edinburgh in July, will become available for selection ahead of the European Rugby Champions Cup games against Leinster and Exeter next month.

Already missing the likes of Fraser Brown (concussion) and Pat MacArthur (hamstring), it seems head coach Dave Rennie could be facing a hooker crisis.

Meanwhile, the Glasgow Hawks hooker Grant Stewart has replaced Sam Johnson in the Warriors Champions Cup squad ahead of the trip to play Montpellier on Saturday.
