Heaslip wants to put things right
Leinster captain Jamie Heaslip is determined to put-right their European Cup defeat to Harlequins in front of their fans at the Aviva Stadium.
Matt O'Connor's men sit second in Pool Two after they suffered their first European loss of the season at the Twickenham Stoop last week.
And Heaslip wants to see his side learn from their mistakes and take back control of their European Cup future.
"Their tails are going to be up coming into this game and we gotta learn from those mistakes, flip it around and go again essentially." Heaslip told the Irish Times.
"We've been in this position before. We got a losing bonus point, that's not too bad in this competition, and obviously it's a big game, a six point turnaround and we're going to have a hell of a challenge now. They're going to be fired up."
Quins now lead the race to the quarterfinals with 12 points from their three outings after second half tries from Nick Easter and Asaeli Tikoirotuma earned them a win in the hard-fought battle with Leinster.
But the Irish side are hot on their heels with nine points, with the home leg of the European double-header on Saturday. And Heaslip's sole focus is moving their European Cup campaign forward Ireland's national stadium.
He said: "You never know the different permutations that the future is going to hold. But obviously playing at home in Europe you want to win. I just wish you could tell the future.
"It's frustrating not winning. We'll take the bonus point, though. We just gotta look forward now. We know where we are at now and we know how these games can go.
"You look at last year when we went so well against Northampton and then they turned it around the following week. We have to look at that and move forward."
