Hogg: Time to learn and adapt
Glasgow Warriors fullback Stuart Hogg wants to see his side learn their lessons from Round Three in order to turn their fortunes around against Toulouse.
The Scottish side were knocked off the top of Pool Four this weekend after slipping to a 11-19 defeat to Toulouse at Stade Ernest Wallon on Sunday.
16 of the 19 points scored by the four-time European Champions came while Glasgow were down to 14 men, after Finn Russell and Leone Nakawara both saw yellow.
But Hogg is determined to win the home leg of their double-header at Scotstoun on Saturday.
"Our discipline wasn't great at the weekend, especially considering we pride ourselves on being a well disciplined team," He said.
We'll work hard this week, analyse where we went wrong and hopefully get a positive result this time around.
"I was obviously very disappointed we didn't win at the weekend but we can learn from it and the good thing about the European competition is that we have the chance to play them again on Saturday."
Glasgow could not break down stubborn Toulouse defence until the final minute, when Niko Matawalu crossed to give Duncan Weir the chance to claim a losing bonus-point.
But the Scotland flyhalf could not find the target and Gregor Townsend's men left Toulouse empty-handed.
However, it is still all to play for heading into the second-leg of the double header, as Glasgow look to reach the quarterfinals of Europe's top competition for the very first time.
Hogg says Glasgow are striving to put things right this weekend.
"There's a lot of hard work to be done not just in terms of preparation, but also recovery," He said
"We're all pushing each other for places which is great as it really ups the tempo in training."
