Leinster raring for Ricoh showdown
Leinster roared to their biggest win in Europe for nine years, to give themselves a huge boost ahead of their massive Pool Two showdown with Wasps at the Ricoh Arena in Round Six.
The triple European champions were on fire and a half century of points blew Castres Olympique away with Ireland second row Devin Toner – not for the first time this season – walking off with the Man-of-the-Match award.
"We knew it was going to be massively important to get the four tries for the bonus point and now we have put a lot of pressure on the rest of the teams in our Pool," said Toner.
"Leading into this game we had been working a lot on our set piece play and we stepped it up at both the scrum and line-out.
"We came together in this match and got things right. We have not done anything different but we do know within ourselves that our performances of late had not been what they should be.
"We have a hugely talented squad and we felt we had a big performance to pull out of the bag."
