Sale Sharks sign Racing 92 scrumhalf

The 33-year-old started his career at Scarlets at the age of 20 and then moved to Cardiff Blues, Ospreys and Bayonne before joining Racing 92.

Mike has played 15 games this season for Racing and is expected to be involved in the matchday squad  for the Champions Cup final next week.

He has won 94 caps for Wales (a record for a scrumhalf) and also played five Tests for the British and Irish Lions.

Director of Rugby Steve Diamond said, “ Mike will fit perfectly into our plans here at Sale Sharks. 

"He is a big, powerful and very skilful player and has plenty of experience playing at the top level of the game. 

"Mike will be one of three ex Racing 92 players at the club next season alongside Brian Mujati and Juandre Kruger.”
