Two SA players included in Champions Cup Team of the Week

SPOTLIGHT: Round Two of the 2025/2026 Champions Cup season is done and dusted, and with it comes the latest Team of the Week selection.

There are only two South Africans in this week’s team who were selected based on data from Oval Insights.

It comes as no surprise that they are both from the Stormers after their 42-21 win over Stade Rochelais.

Marcel Theunissen gets the No.4 position after his impact off the bench in Gqeberha. He was also one of his team’s try-scorers.

His teammate, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu, gets the No.10 position after another eye-catching performance.

The 23-year-old made the most metres (90) with ball in hand, and he also tops the defenders beaten category with seven.
