Ringrose struggled with a shoulder injury over the last few months and the last time he was in action was back in January.

He missed most of Ireland’s Six Nations games and only came off the bench in the  round five defeat of Scotland and has been sidelined since.

O’Brien injured his neck in the win over the Sale Sharks in December and has been watching proceedings from the sidelines ever since.

Leinster’s coach Leo Cullen would also hope to have Hugo Keenan available, although a decision on his fitness will not be made until later in the week as he continues to rehab a hip problem.

There was no update available on James Ryan (arm), Tommy O’Brien (hamstring) or Alex Soroka (foot).
