Bok flyhalf signs for French Top 14 leaders
UPDATE: Robert du Preez’s new team has been revealed.
The 32-year-old will leave Sale Sharks at the end of the current season and head to France,
This week, Top 14 leaders Aviron Bayonnais officially unveiled him as a future player.
He will join his former Sale Sharks teammate Manu Tuilagi in Bayonne ahead of the 2026/2027 season.

Du Preez won his first cap for South Africa against Wales in a Test played in Washington, DC in 2018.
He has gone on to make more than 160 appearances for Sale, many alongside younger brothers Jean-Luc and Dan, and he has scored 881 points.
He also clocked up 76 consecutive Prem starts β a league record β and last season his 1,520 minutes were bettered by only two players.
