Boks shine in Premiership Team of the Season
SPOTLIGHT: Three South Africans, including two Springboks, have been named in the Premiership team of the 2024-25 season.
Boks Thomas du Toit and Robert du Preez cracked the nod alongside Bernhard Janse van Rensburg.
Du Toit has been in free try-scoring form for Bath, whilst Du Preez’s switch to outside centre has proven to be a masterstroke, being the glue to Sale’s backline.
The 2019 World Cup-winning prop scored seven tries this season and performed one try assist. He has beaten 10 defenders and performed two clean breaks and three offloads.
