England's world class forward reveals his future plan
TRANSFER NEWS: England loose forward Sam Underhill has confirmed his next move.
Underhill has re-signed with Bath for the next two seasons.
The back row is known for his tackling ability and defensive power.
Underhill has earned 117 caps so far in the Blue, Black and White, as well as 48 international caps in the Rose of England.
Making his professional debut at the age of 18, Underhill spent time at both Gloucester and Ospreys before signing for Bath in 2017.
Of extending his time spent at the club, Underhill said: “Bath has very much become home for me, my wife and our son. It’s a brilliant club, and city, full of wonderful people.
“I feel incredibly grateful to be able to continue my journey here and look forward to what the future holds for us.”
The flanker has now put pen to paper on a new deal until 2028 with the club, to surpass what will be a decade spent in Bath colours.
Of renewing the club’s contract with Underhill, Head of Rugby, Johann van Graan, said: “Sam is a world class player and renowned all over the world for his collisions in contact.
“But at our club he is a very important part of our journey both on and off the field. We are excited that Sam is continuing his journey with us.”
Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Sam on everything he has achieved with the club so far and looks forward to seeing Sam remain in Bath colours.
