The loosehead boasts 48-Test caps for Wales and one cap for the British & Irish Lions.

Jones will join Harlequins with immediate effect – providing injury cover in the front-row for the 2024/5 season.

Jones made his Test debut against Tonga in 2017, before earning his first start in the Six Nations the following year.

Jones won the Grand Slam with Wales in 2019 and the Six Nations title in 2021 – he also featured at the 2019 World Cup and earned a solitary cap for the British & Irish Lions in 2021 on their tour to South Africa over the course of his 48-Test career.

On the domestic front – Jones played for Llandovery RFC in the Welsh Premiership before taking up a stint with Scarlets in 2013.

Jones made his Scarlets debut in 2014 – racking up 136 matches and helping the Llanelli based side win the Pro12 title in 2017.

Jones expressed his excitement on joining Harlequins:

“I’m delighted to join Quins and can’t wait to test myself in the Premiership, and work alongside an exciting group of players. I’ve heard great things about the club and the supporters, and I’m excited to work with Bomb [Adam Jones] to improve my game and help Quins achieve our objectives this season.”

Head Coach Danny Wilson added: “We’re excited to have Wyn Jones at Quins. He’s an experienced and hard-working player who adds significant cover to our front-row. He’s a powerful scrummager and strong ball carrier who’ll become an integral part of our pack this season.”

The signing of Jones comes fresh after Harlequins announced that they also acquired the services of fellow Welshman and British & Irish Lion fullback Leigh Halfpenny for the 2024/25 season.
