A physical and fast forward, Grant has previous experience of Northern Hemisphere rugby having enjoyed stints with both Nottingham and Montpellier. Priding himself on his strong ball carrying skills, the mobile 28-year-old has also represented New Zealand in Sevens.

Talking about the signing, Director of Rugby at Bath, Todd Blackadder, said: "Paul is an experienced forward who will give us added strength in depth in the back row. He has a very dynamic playing style, understands the rugby we want to play here at Bath, and I know he'll fit in really well."
