Bath's double hooker boost
Bath hookers Ross Batty and Rob Webber have both extended their contracts at the European Rugby Champions Cup side.
Batty scored in his side's narrow defeat to Toulouse in round two and was at the heart of the drive that earned a penalty try in the 30-5 triumph at Montpellier last Friday.
He is looking forward to being a part of Bath's future under Mike Ford after five years at the club.
"I'm really happy to have extended my contract with Bath – I really enjoy being here and it's a great Club to be part of," He said.
"This is my fifth season and it's a great squad to work with every day.
"We're on the right road, and I want to carry on being part of the journey we've started."
Webber arrived at the Rec in 2012 from Wasps and has made six European appearances on top of his 28 Premiership outings.
He has two tries from those six clashes and is delighted to have extended his stay.
"There is a huge amount of drive and ambition at the Club, which is fantastic to be part of," He said.
"We are all striving to be the best we can be and I believe the set-up here – the coaching team, the support staff and the facilities – provides us with the best possible opportunity to do that."
Head Coach Mike Ford added: "We're building a really strong squad here at Bath, and the likes of Rob [Webber], Ross [Batty] and Tom Dunn have been here from the beginning of that and completely understand what we're trying to achieve.
"It goes without saying they are both talented, dynamic rugby players, but it's also what they add off the field that makes them really important to us."
