Braid has been capped 21 times by his country, with his latest coming last weekend in Canada's clash with Romania.

An able goal-kicker, Braid has played for Canada on the World Sevens circuit and featured for Glasgow Warriors during the 2014/15 season.

The stand-off also spent time on loan at London Scottish and counts Doncaster Knights as a former club.

Head coach Carl Hogg said: "With recent injuries to Ryan Lamb and Tom Heathcote, we're delighted Connor is able to come in and bolster the side in the number ten position.

"He has plenty of experience in goal-kicking while his versatility across the backline will also be of great benefit,"

Braid added: "I'm thrilled to be joining Worcester and I can't wait to get out on the pitch to show what I can do.”
