Chisholm remains at Quins
Joining the club aged 12, Chisholm progressed into the full-time Harlequins Academy at 17 in July 2013 and made his senior debut that same year against Exeter Chiefs. Since then he has gone on to make 23 appearances, scoring five tries.
Having captained his country at Under-18 level, the Haywards Heath-born No.8 represented England U-20s during the 2014 Six Nations and won the Junior World Championship later that year. In 2015, James helped the U-20s to the Six Nations titl, before being named as the World U-20 Championship Player of the Year.
"James has put together a string of high-quality performances this season, showing on the big stage the promise which all at Harlequins have known for several years. He is integral to the squad's ambitions and it is with delight that we have agreed his long-term commitment to the Club," Harlequins Director of Rugby, John Kingston said.
Most recently, the 21 year-old was named in the England Saxons squad that secured a 2-0 series win over South Africa in June.
"John Kingston has a great vision for this club and it's something that I want to be a part of over the coming years. I'm honoured to have extended my time with Harlequins, it is a great place to be and I'm enjoying turning up to work each day," Chisholm said.
