England U20 star in Exile
World Rugby Junior Player of the Year James Chisholm has signed a dual contract which will see him join London Scottish on loan from the Harlequins Academy for the 2015/2016 season.
Chisholm, who is returning to the Exiles after helping them to a third placed finish in the Rugby Football Union Championship last season, is one of 13 Harlequins Academy members who will be dual registered/loaned with clubs throughout the Championship, National One and Two Leagues in England.
Chisholm will be joined at the Exiles by fellow 2015 Under-20 Six Nations winners Kieran Treadwell and Joe Marchant who are also dual registered with the Championship side. Other U20 Six Nations winners, loosehead prop Seb Adeniran-Olule and wing Henry Cheeseman will play for Richmond.
Commenting on the announcement, Harlequins Academy manager Tony Diprose said: “It is hugely important for our Academy squad members to gain as much game time and experience as possible at this early stage of their careers.
"The Championship and National Leagues provide the perfect platform for them to lay the foundations and learn their trade in competitive and physical environment.
"Over recent years, we have developed very strong relationships with a number of the local clubs and I am once again very grateful to London Scottish, Rosslyn Park, Richmond, Esher, Worthing and Dorking for providing our Academy members with these exciting opportunities."
