Paul Doran-Jones withdrew before the game, while John Afoa, Jonny May and Henry Trinder all limped off during the match.

"The two props, John and Paul, have both picked up calf injuries and will be missing for a few weeks.

"Jonny May will see a specialist regarding his knee injury and we will be in a position to provide a further update after that appointment. Henry Trinder will be sidelined with his hamstring injury for approximately four weeks," Humphreys confirmed.

However, there was better news with regard to No.8 Gareth Evans and centre Tom Marshall, both sidelined since preseason.

"Gareth's made good progress and we're hoping that he may be able to play a part in our European games in January. Tom is a little bit further behind in terms of a comeback date, but we're optimistic that he may feature before the end of January," he added.
