Haley and Beaumont remain Sharks

Sale Sharks pair Mike Haley and Josh Beaumont have both signed new two-year contracts with the Premiership outfit.

Haley, 20, is a product of Sale's academy and has replaced Italy international Luke McLean as the club's starting full-back.

Beaumont, 22, son of former England captain Bill, has featured at number eight and second row this term.

"They are both great lads and we are delighted they have both agreed their new deals," said boss Steve Diamond.

The pair join hooker Tommy Taylor into committing to Sale next season, as Diamond looks to continue to tie up deals for players who are out of contract at the end of this season.

Preston-born Haley, who began his career at Preston Grasshoppers, has made nine starts so far this season.

Beaumont combined studying at Durham University whilst training with Newcastle Falcons, and has also played for his hometown club Fylde.
