Louw's appeal dismissed

Bath's Louw received the ban after dangerous tackling Charlie Mulchrone of Harlequins, contrary to law 10.4(e).

The incident occurred in the first half of the Premiership match between Bath and Harlequins on Saturday, February 18. 

The RFU Disciplinary appeal panel said: "The appeal panel considered detailed submissions from Bath's representative. However were satisfied that the decision arrived at by the initial panel was a decision that a reasonable body could have come to."

The panel comprised of Jeremy Summers (chairman), John Vale and Nick Dark.
