Pearce to referee Premiership Final

NEWS: Luke Pearce will take charge of his first Premiership Final this weekend, as Saracens take on Sale Sharks at Twickenham Stadium.

The 35-year-old was among Wayne Barnes’assistants for last year’s showpiece between Leicester Tigers and Saracens and now steps up to take overall charge of the 21st Final.

Pearce, who refereed his first Premiership match in 2011, will be assisted by Karl Dickson and Christophe Ridley, with Tom Foley in the TMO chair.
