Saracens snap up Sevens star
The blockbusting Fijian wing or centre, who has lit up the World Rugby Sevens circuit for Ben Ryan's Fijian side, will link up with Saracens ahead of the 2016/17 season after signing a multi-year deal with the north Londoners.
Rawaca is Saracens' third signing for the 2016/17 season following the announcement that Springbok legend Schalk Burger and Wasps flyhalf Alex Lozowski will also be heading to Allianz Park next season.
Speaking of Rawaca's signing, Saracens Director of Rugby Mark McCall said: "Save is an exciting player and at 24-years old he still has a huge amount of potential. I'm sure his physical type of game will flourish in both the Premiership and European rugby.
"What's impressed us Save's willingness to improve and work at his game, and we're very excited to be welcoming one the game's most exciting prospects to Allianz Park next season."
On joining Saracens next season, Rawaca said: "I'm really excited and happy for this opportunity. It's a huge club that I want to play as well as I can for. Once my commitments with Fiji Sevens finish after the Olympic Games my focus will be totally on XVs and Saracens. I intend on taking this opportunity with both hands and joining an amazing club with world class players and coaches."
The 24-year old, has been in blistering form for Fiji in the reduced form of rugby, having scored ten tries on this seasons World Rugby Sevens circuit, and was a try scorer in the London Sevens final against South Africa and in the Dubai Sevens Final against England.
He was also a member of the Flying Fijians training squads for both the 2015 Pacific Nations and Rugby World Cup in the fifteen-a-side game.
