With the rugby world frustrated by the continued suspension of the sport globally, the transfer window has been working overtime as players look to secure their futures.

As reported earlier, Springbok prop Ruan Dreyer is ready to return to Johannesburg.

He will find a familiar face at Ellis Park, as fellow Bok and former Gloucester teammate Jaco Kriel arrived back at Ellis Park in February.

Kriel, 30, has 11 Test caps for the Boks – to go with his more than 100 outings for the Lions (Super Rugby and Currie Cup).

Dreyer, 29, played all four of his Tests in 2017 – starting at tighthead against France, Australia and New Zealand (twice).
