The 23-year-old also featured in the 2015 Super Rugby competition for the Blues, while he represented New Zealand Under-20s in the 2013 World Championship.

"Chris is a big, powerful and adaptable forward who will certainly add some strength to our pack. At just 23, he is an experienced leader having led North Harbour to the top flight and we are excited to see what he has to offer," head coach Carl Hogg said.

Vui stated that he was excited about getting the Warriors up the table.

"Worcester have a great vision in place and the facilities and resources available at the Club are outstanding. I'm excited about the prospect of playing [in the] Premiership and hopefully I can boost the squad and help push us up the table," Vui said.
